Nu-EX/Nu-SP Programming System
Feature of Nu-EX/Nu-SP programming system
The Programming system is the standalone programming environment to the microcomputer with non-volatile memory. This system is used in combination with the programmer socket board, programmer board, and the Nu-EX series or the Nu-SP.
Product summary
This system consists of the programmer board, the programmer socket board, and the Nu-EX series or the Nu-SP.
The programmer board is constructed by the common circuit for each microcomputer.
The programmer socket board is constructed by the specific circuit for each microcomputer.
This system performs the programming of the microcomputer with non-volatile memory by the serial communication between the Nu-EX series or the Nu-SP and the microcomputer.
The Nu-EX series or the Nu-SP and the host computer is connected by USB cable. The programmer board and the programmer socket board do not require a power supply.
In addition, this system can be programmed to the build-in non-volatile memory without a connection to the host computer. At that time, it is necessary that the program data to the memory is registered to the Nu-EX2 or Nu-SP beforehand.
When the Nu-EX2 or the Nu-SP is not connected to the host computer, power is supplied from the AC adapter.

The Nu-EX Series or the Nu-SP supports the gang programming by USB connection to multiple units.
The gang programming can be controlled from another equipment that is not a host computer.
This programming can not be used in a mix of the Nu-EX Series and the Nu-SP.

Usage Guidelines
-
Programming to the build-in non-volatile memory by the Nu-EX series or the Nu-SP is using the onboard programming mode (dedicated serial communication). Therefore, there is the microcomputer with limited programming.
-
The + 5.0 V power supply output of the Nu-EX1 standard IO model or the Nu-SP is directly connected to the USB power supply output of host computer. Since the + 5.0 V power supply is dependent on the characteristics of the USB power supply, can not be guarantee the device power supply, and can not be guarantee a result of programming.
When programming, must be fully evaluated the characteristics of the power supply on the programmer socket board. Since the Nu-EX2 standard IO model is stabilized the + 5.0 V power supply output, can be used without problems.

-
There are the microcomputers that are not supported in Nu-SP. Check the "Product support information" for support status.
-
Depending on the condition and environment of the program, may not perform the programming of data for the flash memory definitely. When perform the program to a mass production product, please perform enough evaluations in the responsibility of the customer.
For the damage that occurred to a customer due to a program result or the third party, we do not take the responsibility at all.
